What is a stun gun?
A weapon designed to stun or immobilize an attacker, usually through the delivery of electric shock. To use a stun gun properly, the contact point on the stun gun has to make contact with the body of the attacker. Stun guns should ONLY be used for self-defense and need to be carried legally according to your state and local laws.
What is pepper spray?
A weapon designed to immobilize or incapacitate an attacker with an aerosol containing the irritant capsaicin. To use pepper spray properly, spray the aerosol in the face of an attacker. Pepper Spray should ONLY be used for self-defense and need to be carried legally according to your state and local laws.

Stunner Safety, Inc. designs products that are multi-functional and high quality. The Stunner’s easy to carry and intuitive to use design allows for our users to cut down on the valuable seconds needed to respond during an attack. Each product is created with the customer’s needs in mind.
Our products adhere to strict quality standards and testing. Our stun gun products have been tested and approved by Rassettica Testing Limited. This is the company that sets the quality and safety standards for police department stun guns. The Stunner is categorized as producing intolerable pain according to our test results and the National Institute of Justice, which is the highest level for commercial use. Our pepper spray is rated as police-grade pepper spray.
At what age can I carry your products?
You must be at least 18 years old to purchase Stunner Safety, Inc. products. Some states may have an age restriction for who can carry stun guns and pepper sprays. PLEASE check your state and local laws before purchasing.
In which states can I carry your products?
While most states in the US allow for the carrying of stun guns and pepper spray, there are a few states, cities, and counties where it may be against the law or a permit is required. We cannot ship to: AL, DC, HI, MA, and NY. Stun Guns and Pepper Spray may also be restricted or illegal in following cities/counties: New York City, NY; Chicago, IL; Newark, NJ; Annapolis, MD; Baltimore, MD; Howard County, MD; Wilmington, DE; New County, DE; Denson, IA; Crawford County, IA; and Tacoma, WA. PLEASE check your state and local laws before purchasing.
Can I carry your products on a plane?
The Stunner and Pepper Sprays sold by Stunner Safety, Inc. must be carried in a checked bag ONLY. All products must have the safety ON, so they do not accidentally discharge inside the checked bag. The Stunner contains a rechargeable lithium-ion battery which is also restricted by TSA; however, it may be carried as long as the stun gun is OFF. Please contact TSA with any questions about traveling with stun gun, pepper spray, or lithium-ion battery products.
We always advise to contact your airline, TSA, and your destination airport before bringing the Stunner in your checked bag. If your airline requires you to remove the battery, then the Stunner cannot be taken on that airline.
What is your return policy?
If you would like to return your product(s), please contact us via contact@stunnersafety.com. We will issue a full refund of any purchases up to 30 days after the original purchase date. All returned products must be in the original packaging and undamaged.
Do you ship internationally?
Currently, Stunner Safety does not ship our products internationally. We plan to expand shipping internationally by 2026. If you would like us to consider applying for shipping to your country, contact us at contact@stunnersafety.com.
How long do I charge my Stunner before use?
We recommend you charge your Stunner at least once a week and minimum of 30 minutes before use; however, it may take up to 4 hours to fully charge the device. Your low battery indicator will change from red to green when charged.
How often should I replace my pepper spray?
Your pepper spray should be replaced at a minimum every two years or after use.
How long should my Stunner last?
The Stunner is designed to last about 5 years with only minimal use and proper storage (stored in temperatures above freezing and below 100 degrees Fahrenheit). If the Stunner is used often and heavily, it may not last the entirety of the 5 years and will have to be replaced sooner.
Any company claiming their rechargeable stun gun lasts a lifetime is misleading its customers. Rechargeable batteries like the ones in commercial stun guns last about 5 to 7 years maximum.
